Electro permanent magnet technology utilizes electricity to manipulate the magnetic field lines of permanent magnet material, oscillating between magnetic (magnetized) and non-magnetic (demagnetized) states. This cutting-edge technology empowers materials to be independently attracted or released, revolutionizing material handling.
In the magnetized state, an electromagnetic coil introduces an instantaneous excitation current to switch the magnetic field state of reversible magnetic materials. This process brings about a robust adsorption force as the magnetic field forms a closed loop, ensuring zero magnetic loss, no heat generation, and noiseless, energy-free operation, as depicted in Figure 1.1.
In the demagnetized state, a subsequent instantaneous excitation current through the electromagnetic coil alters the reversible magnetic field, concentrating it within the permanent magnet. Consequently, the magnetic pole surface is devoid of a magnetic field, allowing the material to be effortlessly released, as captured in Figure 1.2.
