What is electro permanent magnetic technology?
Electro permanent magnet technology brilliantly harnesses the power of electricity to manipulate the magnetic field lines inherent in permanent magnet materials. This enables the technology to seamlessly transition between a magnetized state, characterized by a robust magnetic force, and a demagnetized state, where it exerts no magnetic force. Serving as a groundbreaking application, it ingeniously facilitates the independent attraction or release of materials.
Magnetized State: In this state, an electromagnetic coil is energized with an instantaneous excitation current. This innovative process controls the transition of the magnetic field state within reversible magnetic materials. As a result, a powerful magnetic force envelops the surface of the magnetic poles. Notably, since the magnetic field forms a closed loop, there is zero magnetic loss. Working smartly, the system operates without heat generation, noise, or energy consumption, making it exceptionally efficient (as depicted in Figure 1.1).
Demagnetized State: Transitioning from the magnetized state, another instantaneous excitation current is applied to the electromagnetic coil. This advanced action reconfigures the reversible magnetic field within the built-in circuit. Consequently, the magnetic field is skillfully redirected inside the permanent magnet, leaving the magnetic pole surface devoid of a magnetic field, thereby releasing the material (as illustrated in Figure 1.2).
