What is Electro Permanent Magnetic Technology?
Electro Permanent Magnet technology is a revolutionary method using electricity to control the magnetic field lines of permanent magnet materials. This allows the magnet to express magnetic forces (magnetized state) or switch to a non-magnetic state (demagnetized state), providing innovative and autonomous material handling solutions.
In the Magnetized State, an electromagnetic coil is energized with an instantaneous excitation current to switch the magnetic field state of reversible magnetic materials. This creates a powerful adsorption force as the magnetic field envelops the poles, forming a closed loop with no magnetic loss, no heat, noise, or energy consumption, ensuring highly efficient operation (as depicted in Figure 1.1).
During the Demagnetized State, a secondary instantaneous excitation current alters the internal circuit, converging the magnetic field within the permanent magnet, thus ceasing the external magnetic field and allowing for safe material release (as shown in Figure 1.2).
