What is electro permanent magnetic technology?
Electro permanent magnet technology harnesses the power of electricity to command the magnetic field lines of durable permanent magnet materials. This innovative technology allows for the seamless attraction or release of materials, offering a state capable of magnetic force (magnetized) or non-magnetic force (demagnetized). It operates autonomously, ensuring efficient independent material handling.
Magnetized state: Utilizing an electromagnetic coil with brief excitation current, this state masterfully switches the magnetic field of reversible magnetic materials. This results in an encompassing magnetic field over pole surfaces, delivering a robust adsorption force. The closed-loop magnetic field ensures zero magnetic loss, and its operation is characterized by the absence of heat, noise, and energy consumption—a marvel of efficiency (as demonstrated in Figure 1.1).
Demagnetized state: When in the magnetized state, another quick pulse of excitation current through the electromagnetic coil alters the reversible magnetic field via a built-in circuit. This change redirects the magnetic field within the permanent magnet, leaving the pole surfaces magnetically neutral and liberating the material (as illustrated in Figure 1.2).
